Wish my apartment is as such 🙂
Positive: A small elevator brings to the level of the apartment floor. One has to take in the massive and impressive size, contemporary decor, and hi-tech kitchen. The heaters are working very well on April cold night. It is a beautiful place not only to stay but to live in. Negative: It is a pity no lake view. Anyway, the lake is a stone throw away.

This flat is beautiful, very well located, and exceeded our expectations. The host was flexible, responsive, proactive in making sure we had everything we need, friendly, and took the time to make sure we were settled and understood how to use some of the more modern equipment in the flat. The location is fantastic and central to everything within in a 5 minute walk. Only thing to note, which had nothing to do with the flat or host, is that the parking garages can fill up during busy days and it can be hard to park. There is a very large lot 2 min away from the flat though, and you can buy one or multi-day passes for reasonable rates. We would definitely stay again!

Comfortable bedding, super quiet bedroom, got a great nights sleep. A/C comprised of two portable units, not in the primary bedroom, and the living room A/C vents through a window that needs to be left open to use, which lets on warm air. It was warmer than we expected for this time of year. Loic, our host, was super! He responded quickly to all our messages and was easy and friendly to work with. Plenty of pay parking available, both on the street and just across the street at the Hotel de Ville parking garage. Restaurants, cafes, the old town, the lake, and the canals are all just steps away. Annecy truly is magical.

Un magnifique appartement en plein coeur d'Annecy, dans une zone qui sera prochainement piétonne (d'où les travaux, non bruyants). La cuisine est ultra moderne qu'il s'agisse du four, de la plaque de cuisson, du robinet à eau gazeuse ;-) Les chambres très belles, spacieuses. Merci pour l'accueil, nous ne manquerons pas de revenir.

This was undoubtedly the very best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. The host was present on arrival as promised and the unit was ready for our occupancy. He walked us through the entire facility and spent considerable time explaining the modern updated equipment in the kitchen and the washer and dryer. Both bathrooms were spotlessly clean and bright. We soon discovered that the apartment was literally steps away from the Christmas market and old town and that also allowed us to get away from the crowds when we wanted to. Stepping out of the front door we could also see the lake so I would guess that this apartment would also be very convenient in the summer. All in all we would give Maxime, our host, and this apartment and 10+ in every respect.

Maxime qui nous a accueilli a été de bons conseils pour de bonnes adresses et activité à faire. Il a été disponible et réactif quant à notre arrivée et notre départ.

The communication was excellent, and Maxime was very helpful with check-in and check-out times. We loved the sparkling water that came form the faucet - great touch! I highly recommend this place!

Beautiful, comfortable, clean, perfect location. Responsive host; a fuse blew and someone came within an hour to help us. I highly recommend this Airbnb. Be advised that you'll be asked to set an exact check-in/check-out time to transfer the key. To check-in the key was left at a restaurant for us to pick-up so that allowed flexibility. Again, this is a wonderful Airbnb and highly recommended.

The Good and The Not So Good
Positive: The property was in a nice location with good parking across the street. We were able to check in a little earlier than allocated 4.00pm. The kitchen was well equiped but we didn’t really get to use it due to no english provided and power outage. Negative: We were given a very fast tour of the apartment. When I asked for instructions in english for the appliances I was told no english provided, if you don’t know then Google it. We have been travelling Europe for 5 weeks now and this is the first time I have come across this approach. As the host left he told us “if the power goes out and sometimes it does go to this cupboard, do this….go to that room do that….. and power will come back”. Just on dark as we were trying to get some washing done and heat up some food the power went out. I contacted the host and his response was “I already told you what to do” eventually he came back with more instructions when I suggested he needed to come and sort it out. It is not acceptable for us to be sorting out electrical issues, and this has clearly happened in the past and needs to be rectified. This happened twice that evening and we gave up on using any other appliances. We found the property to be superficially clean, the common surfaces were all clean but the apartment was very dusty. The balcony was very grubby and not somewhere you would want to enjoy your food. I know the reviews have been good on this property and that was why we booked it but it was far from our experience here. We have enjoyed so many other apartment style rentals in Europe, this one was a very different experience and we felt very unsupported by the host. If you are advertising in a global market then you need to provided instructions to cater for everyone not just in French.

Our host did an excellent job communicating with us and making our stay enjoyable. The bedroom was very quiet, the living space was very spacious and comfortable and finding parking was easy. The location is close to everything Annecy has to offer.

Good location. Poorly maintained, shower flooded. Clothes moths at the flat so we could not unpack properly. Also note that the flat is not really airconditioned. Rather two of the rooms have large bulky noisy portable airconditioners. We had to check out early and find another place. We did get a partial refund for nights stayed and refund for unused nights.

Positive: It is very nicely decorated. The apartment is very well ventilated and cool at the same time. Lots of amenities in the apartment. Loved the washer and dryer the best! Negative: The curtains is rather thin and does not do much to block the sun. The pillows are rather thin and flat at the 2nd bedroom.

We loved the Airbnb's location by the lake and old town, and its thoughtful interior design. However, the check-in process was complicated and the place could have been cleaner. There were issues with the heating, a clogged and broken shower, and a lack of essentials (no soap at all, and other essentials were either used up or nearly so). Street noise was noticeable, but not an issue for us. A simpler check-in process, better cleaning, and more attention to amenities could really improve the experience.

However we came across a couple of disappointments. 1) It was incredibly cold and there was no way to put on the heater nor was the host accommodating to help us out. We had to wear our jackets and scarf inside instead. 2) The curtains are very bad so we basically woke up early every morning because of the light. 3) We had to take away our own garbage during check-out which we were shocked to do, especially for the amount of money we paid and cleaning fee.

Beautiful new apartment in excellent location
Positive: Location was perfect! Within a block of Farmers market held 3X weekly and all shopping although grocery store was dismal. The Market and specialty shops were an absolutely wonderful place to shop for any food needs. Most people spoke English or were extremely helpful. Negative: We always seem to have a problem with the phone service for final contact once arriving in the city. Better instructions on how to reach them would help since the phone number we had goes back to a central office elsewhere.

Very good but needs some improvements.
Positive: It was very clean and comfortable, very nice location and car parking is close by, the host was very nice as well. Negative: There was no AC, only water cooling one which was exhausting the hot air inside the living room, also the master bed room (bigger room has no AC), everything else was great.

Positive: Very nice and spacious appartement. Perfect location near the lake and the city centre and good parking facilities near by at the Hotel du Ville. Very good facilities - wifi, televisions, coffee machines etc. Friendly and helpful staff. Negative: Only minor details. Small pots etc. for cooking at home if more than two. We lost power when cooking and boiling water at the same time, but got help immediately.

Easily my favorite airBNB I’ve ever booked! Fantastic location, with a lift (elevator) - although you did have to go up about 6 or so steps to get to the lift, my mother in law was able to do that without issue. Design was flawless, modern updated appliances and even a water filter in the kitchen sink. AC is window units, dyson fans are throughout, even a steamer and hair driers in both restrooms. There is only one toilet, but it is separated into its own room which makes it easier to share, and was not an issue for 3 people. La Concierge even shared a link upon booking for transportation that we used from the Geneva airport. Can’t recommend enough!

Lovely flat in a perfect location. Very close to the lake and close to the old town but on the edge so not too busy or noisy. Very comfy beds and sofa. All questions answered quickly and help given when we needed it. I would recommend this appartment.

Appartement à la décoration récente et très soignée. Accueil semblable à celui d'une prestation hotelière puisque géré par un service de conciergerie. Tout est nickel. Très bien situé. Efficace et bien rôdé.

Cet appartement est très agréable, décoré avec goût et très fonctionnel. Il est idéalement situé dans la vieille ville d’Annecy vous permettant de tout faire à pied. Le marché est à deux pas ainsi que le Pâquier. Les chambres ne donnent pas sur la rue principale ce qui permet de dormir au calme. Malgré le mauvais temps nous garderons un très agréable souvenir de ce séjour.
